The Greeters are charged with the privilege, responsibility, and duty to recreate an organized, friendly ministry that focuses on the needs of the body of Christ. Therefore, we are committed to the ministry of greeting, where we express personal warmth and authentic welcome to all who enter through the doors of Huber Memorial Church. We are also committed to living a lifestyle that reflects our personal relationship with God; a relationship that enables us to express genuine expressions of kindness and friendliness in service to one another.
Special highlights and functions of this ministry:
We greet everyone as they enter the sanctuary for worship, with a handshake and a hug. We also greet our special guests (first time visitors) during both Sunday morning services from the pulpit in a way that encourages those who know the Lord to continue to walk by faith, and encourage those who may not know the Lord as their personal savior, to accept Jesus when the call to salvation is given by the preacher.
Who can participate?
Huber members who have completed their required new membership classes and are currently in a bible study class
When do we meet?
The 1st Saturday of every month.
