The purpose of the Global Outreach Missions Ministry is to introduce, inform, educate, and inspire the Huber family to a deeper personal and corporate commitment towards local and foreign missions to rescue the children, redeem the family and recreate communities both locally and globally to the Glory of God. In keeping with the Kingdom pattern of ministry, it is our desire to accomplish all that God asks through praying to Him to identify His purposes and plans for His ministry for reaching those outside of His kingdom.


The Global Outreach Ministry is composed of: Intercessory Prayer Foreign Missions Local Missions and Evangelism Immigration and Refugee Education and Mobilization Conferences/Special Events and Promotions


Special highlights and functions of this ministry:


The first annual Missions Conference was held April 1999. Weekly missions training sessions available. Full/Part time missions opportunities at home & abroad. Short-term trips for youth and young adults. Opportunities to help financially support future & foreign missionaries. Huber Missions Committee opportunities (i.e. public relations, prayer, etc.) Special projects, films and slide presentations. Foreign missionaries to share their experiences with us while on furlough. Opportunities to network with churches and mission organizations in the Baltimore and surrounding areas. Employment referral opportunities in a missions organization.


Who can participate?


All members of Huber Memorial Church who are in regular Bible study.

 

When do we meet?


The general body of the Global Outreach Ministries meets quarterly. Prayer Ministry: 1st Saturdays from 9 am - 3 pm and 3rd Mondays from 7 pm - 9 pm. Foreign Missions Ministry: 4th Wednesdays at 7 pm. Operation Burning Light: We assemble every Thursday at 6:00 p.m. from June to September. The weekly schedule of locations is announced in the Sunday Herald.
